AOC - Chairperson, DAC

Greetings to all.It's a great opportunity for me to announce that AOC DAC has launched website www.aoc.com.bd

with a hope to emphasize broadly on AOC activities in Bangladesh.

One of our aim is to assist all airlines by uploading notification/circular, rules/regulation of Airlines/CAAB/Government whenever receiving and provide easy access to ASMs/APMs to find information as and when required. Others can also view the website to know DAC-AOC and its contribution to develop this airport.

I must thank AOC- Secretary – Vinay Trivedi, ASM, Cathay Pacific / Cathay Dragon Airlines, and Chairman - Baggage committee – S.M. Zobayer Hossain , Saudi Arabian Airlines to bring up such a brilliant idea and its implementation.

Carrier’s aspiration must change with the times. This involves not only becoming more efficient from a cost perspective, but also driving up to achieve traveler satisfaction.

AOC means unity. AOC will always be there for each other and stand together like a pillar against storm..

The principal objective of the AOC is to provide an effective interface between the airline community and CAAB, Government Departments and Agencies and other authorities and to represent the interests of the traveling public as an adjunct to the global airport experience.

The AOC represents the interests of 27 airlines operating at Bangladesh. Some of the airlines are part of global commercial alliances.

Each of the Airport at Bangladesh are under this AOC and meetings take place every month. The Executive has a chairperson (elected) and a general secretary & Vice Chairman (appointed). As well as honorary Vice Chair position for GHA GM - Customer Services.
